Issue 09: Food Fight
Coming Soon - Hungry Zine

Food is political and it is personal. We thought of this issue as a response to the realities we seein our world when it comes to food. Food has been a weapon of war and a weapon we've inflicted on ourselves. Like unwanted guests, gendered divisions of labour, fatphobia, eating disorders, and violence have pulled up chairs to our dining tables. This issue is a reminder that our rage is valid in our meals, our kitchens, and food systems. It's an opoortunity to sit next to these unwelcome guests. Grab a plate. Beyond the Concert Hall: An Anthology of Sounds
Fall 2026 - Laberinto Press

"Entire cultures exist within a sound, a note, a lyric. This series of anthologies was created to celebrate the senses, with Beyond the Concert Hall being the magnum opus, the grand finale, in this multi-lingual composition of what it means to be human." -- Cait Yaga, Editor and Contributor

Beyond the Concert Hall invites readers to slow down, to listen to each other, and to rediscover the everyday acoustics that shape who we are. This polyphonic, uplifting exploration of sound contains twenty-two stories by award winning and up-and-coming Canadian-born and immigrant authors, ranging from flamenco to musical therapy.

The Humanity Issue: Ode d'1954
Spring 2026 - FOE Lit Mag

"To censor voices is to censor the lived experience. Never forget that the freedom of expression is nothing without the freedom to consume, FOE FOC's sake." -- Cait Yaga, Editor-in-Chief and Contributor

FOE (Freedom of Expression) is a student-run literary magazine dedicated to amplifying silenced voices and sharing works that challenge convention, censorship, and complacency. Our inagural issue focuses on  the subject of so-called "objectionable literature," works subject to censorship in times of moral panic, recalling the 1954 establishment of The Advisory Board on Objectionable Publications in Alberta.
